I am the only Lucrezia here that I know of. [It's a peckish smile, but kindly nonetheless. The mention of the man gets that sort of reaction, though there's a curiosity as to why a young girl is asking after her.]
[A scarce-heard knock at Lucrezia's door comes from a very pleased-looking fairy with a wide smile, carefully hovering in place and offering a handwritten letter.]
[She would attend anything Alayne, or Sansa as she is known as, requested her for. However the message at the end has her puzzled. She has never met this Sigrid, but the writing is different. She flips the invitation over for more of a clue before looking at the fairy.]
[ One of the ruddy hawks of the Southern Greenwood alights on a nearby window, branch or stone, screeching and flapping its wings. It has sharp eyes, like all from the Maechenibryth, but waits patiently to have the small scroll attached to its foot unravelled. It reads in looping Drabbish:
Invitation for Lady Lucrezia Borgia and Companion to the winter Yule festivities within I Othrann-in-Heneb, fortress of Thranduil Oropherion, Elvenking of the Maechenibryth.
To celebrate the holiday of the native Aelfen clans, all guests are welcome to remain within the mountainhome until from 25th December until early January for music and merriment. Bed and board provided. Please bring this invitation with you and make your way south along the forest river where marchwardens will find your party and act as escorts. To confirm attendance, please attach an appropriate message to the hawk. Alternatively, contact Thranduil via locket.
The hawk, if needed, will await a snack along with the RSVP before flying off. ]
It is a pleasure, Field Marshall Lancelot. [Lucrezia is also from a time where titles and formality are commonplace. In turn her voice is stern, but welcoming.]
It is not bold, and my presence is known well enough here. You've been told correctly, Marshall. [Though she is wondering what he would like with her. She is no soldier and is still learning to handle her potions skill let alone her shard's ability.]
Well and good. I am much relieved to hear that is so. As for me, I am as well as might be expected.
( A short pause. ) It was not at all a proper siege. They did not take the castle, nor hoist their banner over the ruins. As though the goal was out-right to slay as many as possible.
[Pod isn't quite sure how to go about this, but Rick mentioned this woman, and on hearing a little more of her, Pod is sure she'll be of help, should she be willing to lend even some advice. Pod doubts it would be proper to march up and ask for her at the door, though, but the locket should do nicely? She hopes. Pod tries not to look nervous or shifty as she opens the locket.]
My lady, forgive the intrusion. I am Pod of Gray Holt, and a good friend, Rick, suggested I speak to you. I'm visiting Treun, and have been given a task I'm happy to complete, but am in need of some advice on the subject! Rick said you might be able to offer some, if you don't mind the forwardness. If it's not an inconvenience to you, might we meet and talk?
[Was that too forward? Pod hopes not, and what's said is said anyway. She takes a breath and waits.]
[She finds the girl endearing, trying to be utterly polite. When she flips the locket on to show her, Lucrezia is smiling back gently.]
You are not the first to approach me on the subject, and I would be happy to be of assistance. Are you here in Treun or...? [She waits for an answer, willing to invite her to the Fortuna estate.]
[Pod bobs her head in a little bow, beaming. Of course, the Lady knows Treun better, so Pod waits to see if she has a suggestion of where best to talk.]
Lucrezia. I am in the city for the tournament. I would speak to you, if you could spare a moment for a man such as myself. I understand that you are busy.
[He has heard of the stresses on the Fortuna family, of late. He has his means. He knows that she has been adopted by them and he would speak with her further on the topic, if she has further news to share.]
((ooc: i hope that lucrezia has the means of getting voice messages over the timeskip, if she doesn't let me know and we can work something else out!!))
My name is Hermione Granger and I wrote on behalf of the White Citadel.
Many months ago a lady named Sigrid began the process of creating a road that would link Treun to the main fortress at Caer Glaem in order to allow for better trade routes and easier travel between the locations for all that needed it.
I asked Lady Sansa Stark of the Cothromach for help, knowing that she was a friend of Sigrid, and she informed me that you were a figure in Treun who might be able to help me begin the planning and production of this road, to the benefit of us all.
If that is something you believe might be possible then please reply to this at your earliest convenience.
Yours, Hermione Granger Marchioness of the White Citadel, Sorceress and Protectress of Caer Glaem
I am glad Lady Sansa has sent you to me. I do remember dear Sigrid and her efforts in the city. She was with me when I first traveled here many months ago. I had wondered what had become of the road myself, but other duties have led me to other projects.
I can say that a road leading through Seelie territory could only benefit the town. If you have any need of me, please let me know what I could do.
Sincerely, Lady Lucrezia Borgia of the Fortuna Family
I'm glad to hear that the road would be welcome! All I ask is if there is anyone that you think might be willing to help me with the planning and any workers or builders that you think are admirable and capable. I have some friends from Caer Glaem and some men from the Citadel that have agreed to work to help protect the road during the process, at least initially, and I'm more than happy to make sure you are kept up to date with it's progress.
Your help is welcome and I thank you for it. If there is anything I can do in return please do let me know and I'll try my best.

He is kindly then. To think of me. [Although she must question what he was thinking to send such a small girl to her.]
Do you have skill with a blade? [Not judging. Anything is better than what she has right now.]

[She is not all that pleased with how it turned out, regardless if she's Seelie herself.]
I am glad to hear you safe though.
