[Pod follows, easily keeping pace, and when they get there, she's very obviously interested in the books, but after a moment settles down. Not knowing what else to do, she starts explaining.]

Do you know John Grimm? He's assigned me a task here in Treun. There are those who dislike shardbearers very strongly and he worries over it. I'm to find natives here willing to work with us, and make sure John can be informed of anti-shardbearer happenings and other important events in the city or government so that he can take action to help, or stop violence.

And, well, I was thinking that it might be nice to see what I can do to improve the natives' opinions of us on the whole as well.

[pontificus]

[She sits comfortably in the chair as she listens.]

You would not be the first to come to me with such matters. Tell me, have you been in Treun long?

[wolvering]

[Pod shakes her head.]

Not long, but I quite like what I've seen of the city, and I'm sure the people here are quite kind, underneath the suspicion of strangers.

[pontificus]

They are suspicious of me, and I've been here half a year, named as theirs and all now. [She raises her eyebrows to give a sense of solidarity.]

But we will think of something to change this. Have you any goal?

[wolvering]

We'll just have to work harder to prove that we mean them no harm, and wish to help them then--oh!

Maybe there's a way we could work together to show them that we mean only to benefit the people of Treun. Show them what skills and talents and craft we can bring to the city and its people or suchlike.

[Pod pauses for a moment.]

But as for my goal here, I mostly aim to fulfill John Grimm's request of me, and then see what else can be done.

[pontificus]

[Lucrezia listens, tapping at the desk as the girl gets some ideas.]

Like a fair then? We could do it at the market, make a public display?

[wolvering]

[Pod nods excitedly, almost shaking her whole body with it.]

Yes, a fair would be a perfect way, I think! We can make sure the other shardbearers know about it so they can come to Treun if they wish to aid its people.

[pontificus]

I'll be sure to announce it. Let me see what days are good, how much space we can get and the like.

[wolvering]

Excellent! And I will do what I can to help. Perhaps I can go on errands for you?
